Emily Hill, LMSW, CST

When one heals, we all heal.

I became, and remain, a therapist because I am persistently and radically hopeful for a better world for everyone. I believe this starts with us: it is important to encourage and support growth and change in ourselves, others, and the systems around us.

I have worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, public health research, medical social work, sexual health education, and private mental health practice, all of which have helped me tremendously in becoming familiar and competent with a variety of concerns and experiences. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan in 2015 and am an AASECT certified sex therapist. I am also an experienced clinical supervisor who has supported many early-career clinicians and interns. I serve as the Director of Education and Training for a group practice in Ann Arbor, MI.

Outside of my mental health professional roles, I am a devoted pet parent, a lover of music, and an ambitious home baker.

“To be truly radical is to make hope possible rather than despair convincing.” -Raymond Williams
